The CashedUp Story

CashedUp began at home, when my wife was looking for a budgeting and financial tool that actually suited the way she wanted to manage money.

I showed her some of the well-known apps already on the market, and while a few had decent features, none of them quite hit the mark. She wanted things that felt simple and practical, like a visible calendar so she could clearly see what bills, payments, and upcoming financial commitments were around the corner. It turned out that finding a tool that did all of that well was harder than it should have been.

So I built one for her.

What started as a customised solution for one person gradually evolved into something much more powerful. Over time, I added features for tracking assets, managing crypto, and even built in AI to help with personalised planning and financial decision-making. The idea was to create a tool that gives people a clearer, more complete picture of their financial life, without making things harder or more confusing.

After sharing it with family and friends, the feedback was incredibly positive. People loved how flexible, practical, and easy it felt. That's when I decided to make CashedUp available more broadly, so more Australians could use it too.

CashedUp is designed for individuals and couples, and it can also support more complex setups like businesses, SMSFs, and family trusts. Whether you're just trying to stay on top of your weekly finances or want a better view across everything you manage, CashedUp is here to help. Best of all, it's free to get started.
