1. Description of Service

CashedUp is a financial planning and personal budgeting software tool designed to help households track incoming income, forecast future expenses, manage company/trust entities, and project overall household net wealth.

2. No Financial Advice

[!WARNING] Important Advisory Notice CashedUp is an information and technology platform. We do not provide financial product advice, investment advice, legal advice, or tax advice.

All content, projections, automated AI insights, scenario plans, and calculations provided through the Service are for general educational and informational purposes only. They are based on data inputted by you or imported on your behalf and should not be relied upon as financial advice.

We strongly recommend that you obtain independent professional advice from a licensed financial adviser, accountant, or tax professional before making any financial decisions or acting on any information generated by the Service.

3. Account Registration & Security

To access most features of the Service, you must register for a CashedUp account.

  • You must provide accurate, current, and complete information.
  • You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials (including passwords) and for all activities that occur under your account.
  • We strongly recommend enabling Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) to secure your account.
  • You must immediately notify us at security@cashedup.com.au if you suspect any unauthorized access to your account.

4. Subscriptions, Payments & Crypto

Certain features, such as CashedUp Duo or Pro, require a paid subscription.

A. Billing & Automatic Renewal

  • Subscription plans are billed on a recurring monthly or annual basis in advance.
  • All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) unless stated otherwise.
  • Paid subscriptions will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. You can cancel your subscription at any time via the Billing Settings in your dashboard.

B. Cryptocurrency Payments

  • We accept payments in specified cryptocurrencies (such as Bitcoin, USDC, or USDT) through our secure payment gateway.
  • Irreversibility: You acknowledge and agree that cryptocurrency transactions are irreversible. We cannot recover or refund funds sent to an incorrect wallet address or via an unsupported network.
  • Exchange Rate Volatility: Refund values for cryptocurrency payments are calculated based on the AUD equivalent at the time of the original transaction, not the current token valuation.

5. Local Desktop Application

If you install and use the CashedUp Local Desktop Application:

  • You have the option to keep your database stored entirely locally on your device without cloud sync enabled.
  • Data Integrity & Backups: If you choose local storage, we do not store, backup, or have access to your financial data. You are solely responsible for maintaining regular backups of your local data.
  • We are not liable for any data loss, file corruption, hardware failure, or unauthorized local access resulting from security breaches of your local device.

6. Open Banking Integrations

  • If you enable automated bank feeds, you authorize us to retrieve read-only transactional data on your behalf through our secure, accredited third-party open banking provider, Basiq Pty Ltd.
  • Basiq operates securely under the Consumer Data Right (CDR) ecosystem in Australia.
  • We do not store or collect your bank passwords, and your access is limited to a secure, read-only feed. You can disconnect linked bank feeds at any time from your settings.
